Our sister company, Sky Power Solar can install the solar and add the EV charging on the same high quality project - FOR FREE!
Solar generates most of it's power during the peak afternoon hours (particularly when facing SW) when PG&E rates are highest (Peak). Most of us charge our EV at night (11pm - 7 am), when PG&E's rates are lowest, which means for every hour of solar generation, you get 3-4 hours of EV charging.
How much solar do I need? ... it depends on how much you drive:
EV + Solar = Free Transportation
What a concept! Abundant sunshine, combined with PG&E EV rates yields free transportation costs.
